Earthsound Center for Social Development Pays a Visit to David Bassey Ikpeme Foundation and Homes.

On the 23rd of December, Member of Earthsound Center for Social Development visited the David Bassy Ikpeme Foundation and Homes in Port Harcourt.


During the visit, the importance of family tracing for children in orphanages was once again been emphasized on by Amb. Mrs. Koko Crusto, the founder of David Bassey Ikpeme Foundation and Homes in Port Harcourt.

According to her, “Family tracing is important for the children in orphanage homes as it will enable the managers of such homes to be able to reintegrate the children to their families where necessary.”

Mrs. Bassy stated this during a visit to the David Bassy Ikpeme Foundation by members of the Earthsound Center for Social Development, led by Mrs. Joy Elenwo, who came to visit the children on the occasion of the Christmas celebration.

For her part, Mrs Joy Elenwo encouraged the managers of the home to continue their good works in raising the kids under their care.


Food items and clothing materials were offered to the kids in the orphanage on the occasion.

Indomie
Vegetable oil
Salt
Milo
Powdered milk
Blankets
Socks
Book and pencil cases.
